GAT Solutions builds revenue-generating systems for healthcare, accounting, and SaaS companies — fast, flawlessly, and powered by AI. In healthcare that means patient platforms, real-time EHR sync, and intake automation that clinical and admissions teams actually run their day on. The premium choice for teams who can't afford to re-do the work.
Most Salesforce consultancies treat healthcare as a vertical to sell into. We treat it as the place our hardest work already lives. The platforms we've built manage 100,000+ patient messages, support 15,314 surgeries, and sync psychiatric and addiction-treatment EHRs in real time — in production, under clinical workloads, with the audit trails to prove who touched what.
Our healthcare practice spans four kinds of care-delivery business: surgical and perioperative care navigation, psychiatric and behavioral health, addiction treatment and recovery, and virtual mental-health intake. Different clinical models, same discipline — event-driven architecture so integrations survive bursts, custom-metadata configuration so admins aren't hostage to deployments, and error logging on every pipeline so failure is never silent.
We're also AI-native. We shipped Gemini-powered live translation inside a HIPAA-conscious patient chat, wired a voice-AI phone agent into psychiatric intake, and built our own product, ApexGenius — which, as of July 2026, has answered 16,550 questions about live Salesforce orgs across 47 connected orgs, with PHI-redaction controls and audit logging built in.

100,000+ patient messages managed on a platform we built inside Salesforce
When Goldfinch Health needed off their previous patient-messaging vendor, we advised against another point solution and built the chat where the clinical data already lived. We architected a real-time, HIPAA-conscious patient–nurse chat on Platform Events and CometD inside Experience Cloud — read receipts, attachments, scheduled messages — and migrated years of message history in ourselves. Then we added Gemini-powered live translation so nurses type English and Spanish-speaking patients read Spanish, plus a record-access audit trail. Five years on, it's still the system their care team runs on.

Real-time EHR sync on 38-field Platform Events — zero swivel-chair entry
A multi-state psychiatric health practice was running intake on duplicate data entry between Salesforce and their EHR. We advised an event-driven architecture and built it: EHR webhooks land on Apex REST endpoints that publish 38-field patient Platform Events; Flows subscribe and update Person Accounts and appointments in real time, while outbound triggers push new patients back to the EHR with MRN writeback and full error logging. We wired their voice-AI phone agent into the same pattern — AI-answered calls become structured Leads — and rolled out Shield Platform Encryption over PHI fields.

Closed Won to EHR patient record — 12 API callouts, one automated pipeline
For a national addiction-treatment network, admissions used to end at Closed Won and restart as re-keying in the clinical EHR. We built the bridge: one Queueable orchestrating 12 idempotent API callouts — patient, episode of care, documents — with token caching and environment switching in custom metadata. For a multi-facility behavioral-health treatment center, we rebuilt the number the whole business runs on: a daily census that recalculates itself when admit or discharge dates move, delivered with architecture briefs so their team owns it.

A 291-field clinical pre-assessment, rendered to archivable PDFs — no managed package
A virtual mental-health provider needed intake documentation that clinicians could trust and auditors could retrieve — without a document-generation license. We modeled the pre-assessment as a 291-field data model with eight related clinical objects, then built a record-type-aware rendering engine: flow-invoked Apex assembles the packet, Visualforce templates render each of four intake types, and the finished PDF files itself against the patient journey. Native platform economics, clinical-grade output, and a data model their next feature builds on instead of around.
Platform honesty
Every build above runs on a custom patient data model on core Salesforce — patients, surgeries, episodes of care, screenings, census — designed for how each business actually operates. The patterns are the same whether you're on Health Cloud or a custom patient data model: event-driven EHR sync, intake and consent automation, clinical document generation, and record-access auditing. We'll advise honestly on which foundation fits, then build the one you choose as if we'll be maintaining it — because we usually are.
Capabilities
Webhook-to-Platform-Event pipelines that sync patients, appointments, and MRNs bidirectionally without governor-limit failures — shipped against psychiatric and addiction-treatment EHRs.
Real-time chat, portals, and notifications on Experience Cloud, with read receipts, attachments, and LLM-powered live translation — 100,000+ patient messages managed.
Screening questionnaires, verification-of-benefits capture, e-signature stage automation, and admissions funnels modeled end to end.
Record-type-aware PDF engines on native Visualforce rendering — 48-to-291-field clinical packets, no managed-package fees.
LLM features inside regulated orgs with guardrails: translation, voice-AI intake, and PHI-redaction controls, every AI-touching class tested.
Record-access audit trails (34,860 events captured in one org), Shield Platform Encryption rollouts, and minimum-necessary design.
Outcomes
Every figure below is from a GAT client engagement or a GAT product — no borrowed logos, no inflated claims.
36×
Rebuilt intake and qualification flows end-to-end — the conversion rate multiplied 36× once handoffs, routing, and follow-up were automated.
35% → 92%
A blocked org couldn't deploy. GAT refactored and tested the codebase from 35% to 92% coverage — unblocking every release since.
100+
Built 100+ Docrio document templates for a healthcare organization — intake, consent, and clinical paperwork generated from Salesforce records instead of by hand.
GAT Solutions helped build the Salesforce system almost entirely from scratch, with thoughtful solution design, clear communication, and dependable delivery.
